  1. Seattle is just playing better then the AVS period AVS fan no crying guys he cost them the goal no way that should have been called a penalty mc cannon cost them that goal n AVS season is ending on sunday they have way to many injuries to keep up with the kraken dept period

  2. McKinnon, might be one of the best forwards to play the game next to Mcdavid and Leon. He had his head turned away from the player and then he fell, so in his view, he got tripped… trust me, no forward wants to fall like this bc you can pull your groin just by the awkward movement and fall.

  3. I’d understand the upset if it was the stick that tripped him but Mackinnon quickly switched directions and the Seattle player’s skate accidentally clipped him because they suddenly had to switch directions too. I didn’t see any purposeful sticking out of the leg to trip him either.

And when people in the comments are arguing about it, it probably means it was 50/50 anyway. Good no call imo

  4. AHL Rookie of the year for a reason. I really enjoyed watching him play for the Firebirds this season. Best of luck in the NHL Karts!!!

  5. All you saying it wasnt a trip it clearly was yes they are getting out played but it was a trip if your saying its not a trip your telling me you can always kick a players skate out from underneath them

  6. Mackinnon was too busy crying and not covering his guy. Gotta love it. Also for an NHLer, he seems to fall a lot. Maybe he's just new to skating or something.

  7. If anything Eberle tries to grab him with his free right hand and gets a little jersey, but not enough for a holding call.

And McKinnon clearly trips over his own leg, not because of anything Eberle has or has not done on the play.

Then he gets too wrapped up looking for a call that isn't coming that he's late for the change and leaves the Avs short on coverage.

Well done, guy. You've been in the playoffs before. You ought'a know the refs swallow their whistles on those kinds of plays. You quit on the play, quit thinking for 1 second, and now you're 1 game away from teeing off.

  8. Definitely a missed call on Mack. Any objective fan understands that that was a trip and would be outraged if it was their team. Still, happy to see a Kingston kid make it to the show!

  9. Borden got away with a clever trip. Most refs would have called it – – so long as they are not NHL refs.

  10. my guess is that will be the highlite of that kid's career in the nhl. a goal on what should have been a penalty.
