  1. The Canucks need a top 4 defenseman more than they need a top 2 centre, but if Bedard can take faceoffs, that’s helpful. That’s Pettersson’s area of weakness.

  2. Witch team Connor Bedard should he get drafted by? Who gives Bedard the most successful chance to have the best career possible ? A special player like that deserve the best environment possible in my opinion, doesn’t he ?

  3. Haven't the Red Wings gotten screwed the most by the draft than any other team? I think I read that nobody has fallen more spots in all drafts combined than detroit.

  4. I'll go to therapy when he'll freezes over , I deal with my own problems .

  5. I would say the wings do… but… the league riggs the draft lotto so they will never win it

  6. Montreal needs him the most. Please don't let him go to Arizona or Columbus they don't even like hockey. At least let a real hockey town have him

  7. Hoping the Wings will have some luck this year but I'm not holding my breath.

  8. Since the Wings have had such terrible lottery luck, it's only fitting for them to miraculously get 1st overall this year with only 5% chance.

  9. Yeah Vancouver has had the worst draft lottery luck they have won the 1st overall once in the entire history of the franchise but traded it away to land both of the Sedins back in 1999. Over the last 10 years though they have had the worst luck.

  10. So I have no clue how things work when it comes to draft position so can someone briefly explain why the caps finish 8th worst and the wings finish 9th worst? They have the exact same record so I'm just wondering Like what's the determining factory when 2 teams finish equal?

  11. The Detroit red wings would love Bedard or Fantilli. We are not picky. Just for the love of god please let us have some luck for once! I AM BEGGING YOU

  12. Please do not let the Ducks or Blackhawks get Bedard. I don’t want him to be tainted by those franchises

  13. Tankathon says… 1) Vancouver 2) Chicago 3) Anaheim. I can live with this I guess.

  14. Bettman would never let Detroit get a 1st overall and the 2020 lottery really showcased it.

  15. Vancouver doesn't deserve anything….😛 (Coming from a habs fans who lives in Vancouver. Still love you guys).

  16. Definitely by far and away my Red Wings need bedard especially for being screwed over in soo many previous draft lottery's

  17. Wings deserve the lottery win here. Their rebuild has been longer, as well as the playoff drought, not to mention all the times they got screwed by Bettman before in the lottery.

  18. Wings need it. Their lottery luck made the NHL change the rules. I'll happily take #2 overall. Plz bettman

  19. San Jose and Columbus are the Only Two Teams that deserve him!! All you Canadian hockey fans are biased and ridiculously delusional when it comes to your hockey takes!!!

  20. Just for giggles, a re-created Connor Bedard with matching current stats for EA NHL 23. A re-created player that could then be traded to my Vancouver Canucks in game. Even with Bedard's boost, the Canucks improved play & on-ice abilities (according to CPU generated gameplay) remained only slightly above mediocre. As a Canucks fan, I need to see Bedard lottery won by Vancouver.

  21. I’m hoping the Canadiens can get him but I’m not holding my breath If Gary Bettman has anything to do with it.

  22. The Nhl needs him in a Eastern time Market, thats for sure.
They wont let McDavid And Bedard on 10pm games schedule

  23. Chicago need him, they have been preparing this draft for 3 years lol. Anaheim already have a lot of youngsters, with a lot of talent. The organization has done everything to tank even with the talent they already have, they absolutely does not deserve Bedard. Mtl and Det are both my 2nd choice in term of needs and actual power.

  24. A team that needs a star that can change an organization. That desperately need a Center.

    1 – Philly
    2 – Columbus
    3 – Arizona
    4 – Sharks
    5 – St Louis

These teams desperately needs a Face of the Franchise type player. All the other contenders for first overall can kick rocks. They all have decent Centers.

  25. Detroit drafting and developing Bedard creates his overall highest upside for success from any of the 11 teams eligible. You know Yzerman would surround him with players to help him reach his maximum potential.
