The kings literally double team him every opportunity they have, doing that leaves people like Lion open to score all those points.
This is why Drai has stepped up so much 👍🏻you honestly can’t stop both of them
If we escape out of LA😂imagine McDavid breaks out💥🇨🇦
I agree with everyone else here, focusing so hard on Connor is just leaving Leon the chance to run unchecked.
Full focus on Connor, leaving Draisaitl more breathing room. And I mean, come on, McDavid is 1.6 PPG, 0.2 lower than in the season when everyone was calling him the God, 2 points shy of Drai. Think he didn't get any points the very first game, so people kept on panicking ever since.
He's not hurt.
The Kings game plan is to neutralize McDavid at all costs. Who ever is covering him doesn’t even think about offence. Luckily, the oilers have the second best player in the world too.
You got me with the clickbait title…😂👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
8 points in 5 games and everyone is flipping out… childish ..
So hes on the down low hes hurt! No you guys are saying that.
Mcdavid should switch numbers to confuse the Kings
Breaking news…. MCBOARDING is not playing game 6.. Kings will win the series.. Per ESPN, he's not skating with the team
He's also getting triple-coverage
He's only ever gone off in the playoffs last year. It's not a really bad thing, but he wasn't completely dominating in previous years. So there's no appeal to history that says he needs tp be scoring 3pts a game to be healthy.
Lmfao … by the caption I can hear all the excuses if the Oilers lose !
He not net get points he net show. Make rest team get points in ❤❤❤he ok. You see. Fly. Game 1 ❤❤❤
I actually like that McDavid is kind of sitting back and letting Draisaitl run the team. McDavid is the Oilers best player, but to have McDavid basically say to Draisaitl “it’s your team now” really shows that he is unselfish.
*by sitting back I don’t mean it literally, McDavid has 2 goals and 6 assists in 5 games, which is still great. But it’s clear that McDavid is letting Draisaitl run the offense and have the spotlight.
I wonder what percentage of the LA penalties have been drawn by McDavid. Drawing a penalty and then setting up a power play goal is as good as scoring.
Tied for 3rd in points with 8 in 5 games and people are acting like he's not producing. He is getting triple teamed every shift, and it's leaving other guys wide open like kane was for the 4-4 goal in game 4, so I'm not even sure what the kings are doing is a good strategy.
Lol
Half a step back…. A trizzilion steps forward. Connor will unleash it. Great players do great things at the right time.
People who say things like this, don't understand probability, sample size and sports.
The Kings Defense shuts down McDavid…
"HE MUST BE INJURED! THERE CAN BE NO OTHER ANSWER!!!"
… holy hell. Thanks for the confidence.
It’s the playoffs everyone’s hurt
Should just have kept his mouth shut. Traitor.
I'm more concerned about .884 Skinner.
lol !!!! they are not going to tell you if he is hurt !
Does Connor care when Dr Drai is out there laying a beat down?
Yes pun intended.
Anybody who knows anything about Hockey, or specifically McDavid, should know that he has been on a mission all season. Connor is dialed in with 1 thing on his mind. Winning the cup.
He is constantly evolving his game and developing into a more complete player every year. I'm pretty sure we will all see him continue to intensify his game as the playoffs continue. He's definitely in it for the long haul and knows himself better than anyone.
Let's Go Oilers.
