Wheeler had mentioned that Tom Willander would probably be among his top 32, so little surprising he isn’t here. Would love for the wings to take him high in the second round, but he may keep rising considering he’s a RH and probably the best skater among Dmen

  4. Peanut-Brilliant

I’m confident the Red Wings are moving up to 1 or 2. We are so due for some lottery luck.

Man Ryan Leonard looks like a giant killer right now. I expect his stock will continue to rise… Maybe a Stevie Y pick at #9??? Oh wait, I forgot we’re winning the lottery and drafting Bedard (I MUST keep manifesting it into existence).

  6. jfstompers

Worse case is Moore, Leonard and Dvorsky go 6,7,8 and then we know Yzerman takes a defenseman before he takes Benson or Wood or another forward.

  7. If you do not subscribe to the Athletic, you can read every one of their articles for free by using the Firefox browser and enabling reader mode. It’s as simple as simple gets.

  8. As much as I want 1/2, could realistically end up with Moore/Dvorsky/Leonard with our 7-11 pick, and then maybe take Reinbacher with 17/18. I’d be super pleased with that
