  1. Mistakes the Bruins made:

Didn't start Swayman in game 6.

Introduced Bergeron and Krejci back into the series, thus messing with team chemistry, when neither guy was 100%.

  2. Bruins are screwed.

Who can they replace Bergeron and Krejci with?

They need to re-sign Bertuzzi and his value went up in the playoffs.

McAvoy took a step back. Clifton was a liability.

Their coach made some questionable decisions.

  3. After a collapse like this, ownership needs to send a message. Neely, Sweeney, even Montgomery all need to go.

  4. Everything coming up Toronto? WTF!??? They win one round and still suck in everything else and that's coming up Toronto?

  5. So having all time great season and winning in the NHL is hard. Top 15 teams in wins (55 to 65 wins.) in nhl history 5 have won the Stanley cup 3 of them was Montreal 1 was edmonton and the other was last years Colorado i did other numbers but you start having teams from the same season over lap.

  6. Where did Montour come from? The Six Nations Reserve and he will run all over the Leafs.

  7. You know, I really thought that nothing would be funnier than the Bruins blowing this series against Florida and when it finally happened I was cackling. But when I saw Patrice Bergeron hugging all his teammates before stepping off the ice for probably the last time in his career, not gonna lie man I was a little choked up. Never imagined I would feel bad for the Bruins but that moment had a palpable sadness.

  8. you trade every series win in the playoffs against the president trophy. it's worthless. Get homeice, stay healthy and hope your goalie gets hot. thats what gives you a chance in the playoffs. everything else means nothing.

  9. 13:30 … I don't think Boston will be able to sign Bertuzzi. They have $6 million to sign at least 6 players. They technically can do it, but they will get less skilled next year.

  10. i dont agree with the much talked biggest upset of the nhl history. If u look at the teams on paper boston overperformed and florida underperformed the whole season and Florida had pretty much the similar skilled fast team as president trophy winners. Boston were counted out of the playoffs or just getting in (like florida did) in many medias before the season. They were 2 and 2 in the season against each other, so i don't think it matters too much how u play against other teams. CAPTAIN HINDSIGHT! …maybe more surprised on the florida side that with pretty much two big changes they suddenly play relentless playoff hockey.

  11. Totally agree with Jesse's point about the Panthers' style of play matching up well with the Bruins. Everybody called the B's season amazing and put them on a pedestal higher than they belonged. This wasn't a shocker to me – and I'm a B's fan. As to Pete's video – no, I'm not going to forget this season. Would it have been better to have a lousy season? No. It's disappointing, but not surprising. The regular season is worth something – it's nowhere near the Cup, and I'd trade positions with the Panthers in a second, but it's something.

  12. Who’s that moron on the left? He’s so clueless. The Bruins lost because of a coach who totally messed up.

  13. Who’s that idiot on the right? You have no clue. They rode Uhlmark all season? It was almost 50/50 with Swayman. OMG do you guys watch anything from outside of a Toronto.

  14. As someone who doesnt follow hockey closely but knows about sports, is it a coincidence that without Bergeron they went 3-1 and with him they fold three straight ans lose the series? Legitimately asking

  15. I was at game 7 what an experience. The noise level in the building was astounding. Best sporting experience I have ever been too.

  16. Bruins beat themselves multiple times over this series, but i'm not going to deny the panthers just never gave up. They capitalised on nearly every mistake the bruins made and Boston couldn't.

we could talk about all the what-ifs in game 5, and even game 6, none of those what-ifs change the outcome.

however i will not say that the regular season was "lucky". I genuinely believe they were just the team having the most fun during the first 82 games and the playoffs are not "fun"

  17. Panther fan Wow when you say Boston gave it away really what your doing is making yourself feel better about your team instead of just saying you got beat !!!!!!!! Out worked out played out coached the panthers earned it they made there own luck !!!!!!!!!

  18. I said it during the series and I’ll keep saying it. Coaching choke. Monty should have pulled Ullmark in Game 5, or not played him at all with his injury. Derek Forbort, who was AWFUL all series, should not have played after Game 2. The forwards were fine, they scored plenty of goals. Coaching decisions ruined the series, it’s a shame.

  19. The 2021 last place Buffalo Sabres (plus Matt Tkachuk) took down the best regular season team ever, when you really think about it

  20. I was cheering for the Bruins but honestly I can't be upset about all the chirps.. they deserve if after that. Completely devastating when florida got that OT winner. Ah well

  21. The B's fell into the presidents trophy trap. At the end of the season so much was being made of most points, most wins in the regular season.
Emotionally it has to wear on players out. The regular season means ZERO in the playoffs. Monty was out coached plane and simple. To many line changes. Hats off to the Panthers, they're a real threat. Pulling for the Leafs now.
