After the game 7 posts on social I’ve seen a lot of leafs fans, including mr. Leaf himself Steve dangle, thanking the Panthers for knocking out the bruins not fully comprehending what happened…but they’ll learn!

With every win, the 2000s Panther hockey I remember from my youth is getting further in my rear view.

Great game tonight cats! On the TBL subreddit we are trying to get a Panther/Leafs GDT going on it. If you take a look you will probably find it very humorous. It’s time for our « brother » to get the respect they deserve from the Hockey World! Panthers All The Way.
1.) What a phenomenon game by the boys today. The Tkachuk line has to be the most dominant line in the playoffs right now. Every time they were on the ice they had the Leafs hemmed in their own end and were generating high end scoring chances.
2.) They need to keep up the intensity. The Leafs are extremely talented and it showed in the second period just how quick they can get themselves back into games. We need to not let our foot off the gas the rest of the way. And we better be ready for a big push from them in on Thursday at the start.
3.) Bob is looking like the guy we forked over $10MM for. In the playoffs, you need goaltending to step up and make the big saves and he absolutely did that tonight. He plays like that and this team has a legitimate shot to go far.
Other than that it was a good night. Getting one in their barn was huge. In addition to that my Braves won comfortably tonight as well.
