What the Leafs and management have to understand is this Panthers team are last years President's trophy winners becauss they are extremely good. They had a tough regular season and now are healthy and coming together at exactly the right time. Bobrovsky is dialed in and with the addition of Matthew Tkachuk, they are even better than last years team.
Beating Boston was no fluke. They are the best team from the eastern conference.
Leafs' defense looked slow. They need to fix that for game 2.
Panthers took out a record setting team in Boston. As a Toronto fan I wouldn't be taking them lightly. This team is buzzing at the right time.
The only adjustments the Leafs can make in the playoffs and win are the following:
1) Trade everyone on your roster for everyone on Edmonton's roster.
2) Relocate to Edmonton
3) Rename your Team the "Oilers".
Trade the core away for an elite goalie, save Matthews. keep him.

There's nothing to change. The better team and goalie won, that's it, that's all. Lets just give this series to Florida to stop any future embarassment.

The adjustment they need to make is to win.
The series is going to come down to the Leaf's 3rd & 4th lines. The Panther's top lines are going to bully and outscore the Leaf's top lines the entire series just like they did Boston. The only way the Leafs win this series is to capitalize on the Panther's penalty issues and for them to grind out goals against Florida's weaker 3rd & 4th lines.
The Florida defence plays really high in there zone, and they always send one winger and keep the centre back and the defence pushes up to the blue line to assist the winger after first contact with the Toronto Offensive player, it’s pretty brilliant coaching by Paul Maurice and terrible coaching by Sheldon Keefe, I noticed it during period 2, and as soon as we started to dump and chase after being down 2, we were all over them, actually almost scored like 5 times in the last two minutes.. it’s ok make the adjustments and smoke em
Craig Button, has no clue what he is talking about. "Samsonov was excellent" ?????? what game was he watching? the fourth goal was 100% his fault. The 3rd goal was also his fault, got to make first save off a shot on a break away, 2 of the 4 goals were his fault, cannot let those goals in if you are going to win the cup. Thank Brodie and Ryan O for the break away, thank Ryan O for the 4th goal as well. Cannot win a cup with a two goal performance.
