    Well the Devils managed to get to the 2nd period before the Canes destroyed them, so I guess they are improving???
    If Schmid has turned back into a pumpkin, the Devils have no chance in this series. The Canes have spanked them like an errant child, both games.

    Back to why I hate NJD. Lindy Ruff. The traitor back in 2013 who quit coaching the Sabres, going to the team's Mortal Enemy the Dallas Stars .. tbh the Devils were one of my favourite teams once upon a time until Ruff started coaching them. I predict a sweep, 4-1 at the most..
    But honestly? I'd put money on the Florida Panthers winning the Stanley Cup .. but not ALL my money.
    I predict a rematch from the 2006 Stanley Cup finals: Edmonton Oilers vs. carolina hurricanes. Winner?: Tough one. Idk..

    Canes play very beautiful, quick and effective hockey! Even the more experienced players seem to enjoy the game like they were in their twenties again. Kotkaniemi is awesome, what a steal he turned out to be.

    Even as a fan this Canes team is seriously starting to impress me. So much offensive depth missing and here we are. The Devils look outmatched and Scmid is in shambles.

    I was hoping for Devils in this one. It doesn't look good, bit playoff time you never know. To me, Devils Sabres and Red Wings are gonna be top teams in the next 2 to 3 yrs

    Canes are great at home and right now are firing on all cylinders. Devils appear to be drained from the emotional and physical Ranger series. At least for now.
