    The Oilers had an easy time on the breakout against LA because of the 1-3-1, and at least when you dump and chase the Kings had to come the full 200. Oilers have to work on their breakouts against pressure and the fowards have to stop flying the zone too early. Need those short quick passes and puck support and they should be able to beat Vegas with speed.

    I think Edmonton needed that L.
    One gets complacent winning and overlooks the details that got them there.
    Leon & Connor do not look happy, but they now look more focused.

    I have been watching hockey since 1980.
    There is something about this team that makes me feel like they are going to explode very soon and just dominate the NHL.
    That L could be the spark that sets it all off.
    I'm not a fan of any team, I just love hockey.

    If we are lucky we will have been able to fit in a 8 day vacation in LA/Vegas for R&R, then get back to EDM late Sat tied 1-1. If not so lucky, will have learned that some find the vacation distracting & sort of 'slow down' – takes a while to get revved back up. Good opportunity this yr w COLOR out…. likely can manage SEA or DAL. But VEG is working hard/fast pace… & we may not like to go that fast…. or it may be that some (Kane RNH Hym Yama etc… need McD to be scoring threats?)

    I can say that most Oilers players been felt so stressed, and they are up-set in some point that it didn't materialized their game plans…But, come -on Boys, it's ONLY 1 game…And most Oilers Fans and as like me., WE believing how smart the Oilers Players are…..So, No more blaming and PLEASE no more Bad Penalties, that it cost as a game. And Yes, WE will WIN in game 2. So, CHEERS guys…GO OILERS GO. 💪🏒
