He has been doing very well! He keeps improving game after game. We were spoiled by Rick, and Dan has made the loss of an icon much more bearable! His time splitting coverage with Rick really helped him, and the fan base move forward with the change. Great job Dan!

Dan did a great job this season. It’s cool to imagine the team growing more successful in the future and maybe our community getting to add some new great Dunleavy memories to the long list of those older ones associated with RJ or Darling.

Jesus Buffalo Sabres fans (old enough) have been blessed with Ted Darling and Rick Jeanneret. Then to step into a very very very solid replacement in Dan Dunleavy is just stupid luck. I think he will become more comfortable in his own skin and having a better product in front of him will sure as help also. But man were we spoiled.

>The next step for all of us will be to soak in the day this Sabres team gets back into the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I have no doubt in the players’ abilities and desire for that goal and have complete faith in general manager Kevyn Adams, head coach Don Granato and the hockey staff. Indeed, that is where we are headed.
