So Woll plays if Samsonov can’t. Which is the right move. But unless prime Hasek plays it wont matter if the Leafs can only score their customary 2 goals.
Full confidence that Woll can make saves. It’s the other guys on the ice that worry me.

Goaltending wasn’t the issue. I’m confident with Woll in net, but if we can’t score more than two goals per game, who cares?

I have confidence in Woll, he didn’t lose us that game, I actually have high hopes with Woll and think he’s going to be a main roster guy going into the 23/24 season and think he very well could be the starter, guys been a stud in the AHL and has played well up here
Even if Samsonov is cleared to play I think he has too many bumps and bruises to be highly effective. Just go with Woll – if we lose, so what…
Considering the circumstances, Woll played great last night. You can’t trot a 80% Sammy in a win or go home game. Woll has to be the starter for game 4.
I don’t know what goes on behind closed doors but Keefe has to learn how to motivate the boys because my men’s league team plays with more heart and we’re playing for free nachos

Of course Woll wasn’t fazed, he was playing game 3 with house money so to speak. If he starts game 4, it could be, could be a different matter since its win or gone leafs gone.

He’s doubling down on his confidence in Woll so hard I have a sneaky suspicion he’s not actually ready. I mean you only need to look at that OT goal to see. That’s a save all “ready” goalies easily make. Simply need to sit in the butterfly. But instead due to his unreadiness he’s not prepared and he’s scrambling standing up leaving huge holes for Reinhart to put in.

The only thing with Woll is he doesn’t have the pedigree of being able to steal and game. The leafs need a goalie to steal a game real bad right now. To be fair, I don’t know if Samsonov could steal a game either…

Next year we have Woll under contract for like 750k. Really good stuff. Murray also under contract though which means we’ll be dumping another pick unless his injury keeps him out all year.
It’s pretty much over, you can’t even fault the dude for any of the 3 goals. Just play Woll and pray for « the spark », odds are we still lose, but you learn a lot about Woll in the process.
