  1. This is why they should have to where face guards they have to wear helmets no difference then that plus the guys go through juniors and college and have to where them this is not the 1970s anymore

  2. It must feel weird to get hit in the face with a puck and then have thousands of people cheer.

  3. It was kind of the net cam to allow us at home to feel what it was like to be Heiskanen in front of the net there at the end.

  4. The guy who shouldn't even be playing right now due to breaking someones neck with a dirty hit scores a goal. Classic.

  5. Must say that shot was really bad. Without Heiskanen puck would go really high and 100 cm Off the goal. Makes me wonder an amateur shot

  6. I was there to witness this. Even though I was rooting for the Kraken I couldn't get behind this goal with all my heart. I felt too bad for Heiskanen. I hope that he returns, plays his best against my team, and that the best team wins.

  7. So brave of him to exploit another player's agony. Truly the hero of our times.

  8. Was at the game,,,,he took the puck hard to the face…you can break a bone on your cheeks or knock out some teeth with a shot like that…the building was so loud when the first goal went in…there were 4 kraken goals in 4 shots…our snipers were firing…everyone on the kraken team can score with no real superstars….that’s a real hockey team that could go all the way! Watch out world! The kraken has been released!

  9. IMHO I believe it would be fair to disallow a goal like this one. When a player takes a puck to the face while standing right in front/beside the goal, I think the referee should stop the game and allow the player to get immediate treatment. Heiskanen was defenseless, as he fell to the ground he wasn’t able to defend, and in this instance Eberle took advantage of the situation. That wasn’t a fair and square goal IMO. It was of course by the existing rules, but they should change the rules.
