“I expect to see him in warm-ups tonight,” Hakstol said. “That’s another progression for him. We got him some good reps … on a line this morning, we got him a couple reps on the power play and one on the (penalty kill). I haven’t changed his status at this point in time.”

O hockey gods please let him play

I feel like he is probably playing tonight barring any crazy set back.
Hakstol saying no change to status seems like gamesmanship ahead of the game. If sprong wasn’t hurt, I’d think maybe they keep him out one more game since kartye is doing so well. But with sprong out, it opens up an early path to return.

This is for the best. Gets on the ice, but for less time than being on the 2nd line. Plus that Tye, Matty, and Eberle line is on fire!!!

Well, I guess this inadvertently solved the problem of who to sit when McCann came back. At least, for game 4.

I missed the play that ended with Sprong injured and there wasn’t much chatter online about it. Was it a clean play or a dirty hit? Things got a little chippy last game.

he was switching with froden on that line in morning skate so it could go either way
