It's always funny when players for Canadian teams try to disrespect American fans and then immediately end up eating shit. When was the last time a Canadian team won the cup? Humble yourselves.
Such a different matchup from Oilers vs Kings where each team intensely reacting to the excellence of the other. This series each team a statement dominance vs the other.
You know it's a weird game when Draisaitl hits like 3 posts and McDavid is pretty much invisible for most of the game and the only Oiler that scores is Foegle. Just an absolutely terrible game by the Oilers as a whole. I don't care about the missed calls. You can't live off your powerplay. Vegas was clearly the better team in this one, and I say that as an Oilers fan.

Haven't heard much about Bouchard, I'm routin for the guy but he seemed to be the common denominator in a bunch of bad plays and goals against… and every time you'd see him head to the bench shaking his head…. he new it. I'm surprised they kept putting him back out….. it seemed clear that his brain was just fried…. he's young, he'll bounce back, but this was a bad one for him…

Everyone who watched THG's preview video of last night's game/the draft lottery and made a prediction for this game all picked the Oilers. So glad the Knights won. Now they have a legitimate chance to close this series out at home in Game 5!

Oilers deserved this loss; their fans did not. It felt like a complete lack of effort with the possible exception of Derek Ryan, who looked like he actually cared that he's playing in round 2 of the playoffs. Get it together, Oilers!
Oilers need to do something. Skinner's GAA of 3.60 won't cut it to win the cup. He had a few shots that he clearly saw and was made to look foolish. Vegas knows to go glove high on him. I'd like to see Campbell in the next game and the defense really needs to step it up.

The Reffing was terrible, but the Oilers were worse. Did a total 180 from the game on Saturday night in Vegas. Looked like no one was really interested.

Oilers getting outscored 10-4 in 5-on-5 play is the real issue for them. They're not going to get 5-6 PP's every game so need to figure out how to make some adjustments and improve non special teams play.

It looked to me like the Oilers didn't know what to do when Knights stayed out the penalty box. They kind of looked confused when they couldn't rely on the PP.
Oilers defense is generally terrible. Nurse is supposed to be the leader but he makes terrible decisions all the time. What is he doing out at the blue line on Whitecloud's goal? Bouchard isn't good defensively. I would play Ekholm and Kulak the most.
Life long Oilers fan here and that game was completely garbage from the Oilers, they played like a bunch of donkeys! And the refs only call penalties against Edmonyon unless they could give Vegas a coincidental. The Oilers take two high sticks in the first no calls but the call it against the Oilers. Vegas played good tho
