The stats need to be taken with a big grain of salt. Using KHL stats as NHL projectability needs to be carefully, the quality of the league has fallen significantly in the last few years. It’s no longer the second best league in the world, it’s closer to the 4th best than it is to the second.
Michkov has done well but the gap between the league he played in and the one Carlsson played isn’t nearly as wide as it was 5 years ago.
Michkov wasn’t more dominant than Bedard, I’d go as far as arguing that Fantilli had a more dominant season too. He’s still a top 3 level prospect in this year’s draft though, his faults and warps shouldn’t be ignored when scouting him because of his stats though.
If he was for sure coming over next year he goes 2nd overall 100%
