  1. Grubauer is a playoff goalie and wanted to beat his old team! Great game, great team play

  2. Any Flyer fans questioning Hakstol now? This win after game 6’s poor showing is a coach working with their team to elevate from a regular season game to a playoff final.

  3. Congrats Coach…so happy for you. Am an Aussie Kraken fan who was one of the first International members and have loved you since your Maple Leafs days.

Enjoy the win and bring on Round 2…I CANNOT WAIT!

  4. Kraken showed up 100% every game, the Avs did not so it makes sense they go to round 2.

Now let's get that Eberle suspension in place already so this team doesn't have that controversy hanging over them and we all can feel more confident in player safety.

  5. Some of Hak's fights are on YouTube and I don't think he dramatically wins any of them, but he keeps going out there. No quit. No giving up. Now he's got 17 guys on the ice with that mentality. Only shift that matters is the next one.

  6. Congratulations Dave Hakstol & Seattle Kraken!
    Well deserved series win.

  7. Avs fan here. Great series to watch and congratulations on the win. The consistency of this team showing up and giving 100% every night was the difference here. I've enjoyed watching Dave speak to the media, what a solid coach he seems to be. Much like Bednar, gives credit where it's due and not full of excuses when things go wrong. Avs need the time off to get healthy now, they've been battling all year. Super sad to see them out but hey, Let's go Kraken!! I'd love to see you beat Dallas!

  8. As an Avalanche fan, my respect to the Kraken. Beside losing in the first round, I wonder where this Grubauer was when he stood in the goal of the Avalanche in the playoffs.

  9. Coach Haskol is a great coach..led the University of North Dakota years ago..built a great team..he will do the same for Seattle. He has experience and know how to win. Win..win
