wings fan here ! love that we stay true to our history but a modern twist for an outdoor game or for some other cool.purpose would be welcomed for sure been a fan for over 20 years and its a love hate thing but our jerseys are perfect home and away but a 3rd different jersey again id welcome with open arms !
I'm a huge Wings fan (from the UK)I love the fact we keep the same look 😀 Although I do wish they'd use the 2014 Winter Classic or the 2008 Winter Classic as a 3rd.

I am pleased with the Wings jerseys. It is an iconic sweater and there is no need to change it. Slight tweaks would be fine but no major changes please. I have been a Wings fan since before we drafted Stevie Y.

Neil you’re right, I am watching lol. Just like Montreal, if it’s not broke, don’t try to fix it! Personally my favorite is the current, and by current I mean the same one that has been around since I was born (35 years). And a close runner up is the 2014 winter classic, back when I was still in Michigan you saw people EVERYWHERE wearing that jersey! As a Wings fan living in New Jersey i do love are current jerseys but i would also like to see a Black & Red uniform that has the winged wheel to use as a 3rd jersey and an alternate uniform as well
As a Red Wings fan, I love the classic jerseys. I would hate to see any major changes. There's so unique touches to the classic jerseys, such as the side of the C. My top jerseys, in order, are the 2014 Winter Classic, 2017 Stadium Series jersey, 75th anniversary jersey, addias home and away, and the 2009 Winter Classic. I would love to see the top 3 jerseys make a comeback as well as a bold black jersey, although it needs to be done right (I would design one but I need lessons on Photoshop). I think they could reserve 20 games of the season for those four alternates. Each jersey would see 5 games a season. I think all teams should have at least one alternate.

The 1928-1929 jersey is a Detroit Cougars one. The story is that, there is an associated group has bought the team (which the teams was the Victoria Cougars) for a amount 100 000$us. They only relocated the team in Detroit and they didn't change the change the team name before 1927. That's how the red wings story begin.
Number 1 would be the 2017 Centennial Detroit Red Wings Away jersey, ranked as third for your listing. Number 2 would be the 2009 Winter Classic Detroit Red Wings Away jersey, ranked as fourth for your listing. Also, in my humble opinion, the Detroit Red Wings fans are the best fans throughout the NHL.
The standard home and away are iconic. Simple and gorgeous. That being said a third with a little flair would be liked. I did not like the Stadium Series jersey when it first came out. It really grew on me
I own a Reebok white jersey so my bias is towards that but the white stripe and D is just so cool
As a fan of the Red Wings I think they should modernize their Jerseys. I don't think they should change their logo, but maybe add an alternate logo. They should also be more creative with their uniforms. I think they should make their uniforms like the leafs, modern and new, but classic at the same time.
The most boring team branding in sports, imo.

Lifelong Wings fan here (since before Yzerman). I LOVE that they haven't done bold. I am happy they haven't mixed in some weird color or crazy design.
Also, the 2014 Winter Classic should be their new home jersey. That design is amazing.

The first jersey ranked said falcons because that was the team name at that time. The were originally the detroit cougars after the victoria cougars moved to detroit. They later changed to the falcons and eventually the red wings.

As a die hard Detroit Red Wings fan I really don't care for #4, #3, and #1 on your list…#2 aka what they've been wearing for the past 40 plus years is by far my favorite – nuthin else comes close.
Iconic logo, classic colors (red of course is fitting), and clean/simple style.
In my humble opinion – when you have the BEST logo in professional sports – there's simply no need, or reason to make any changes.
BTW – 2021 Reverse Retro for my beloved Red Wings – poor effort made…Could've done something much better.
As a wings fan I love the tradition of our uniform. It’s timeless. It also makes it That much more special when we do get an alternate for an outdoor game or whatever. And we’ve had some great ones. With that being said. This years reverse retro was definitely a missed opertunity
The wings were 1st called the Cougars then the Falcons before changed to Red Wings

In Europe we get spoiled by our teams. Every year a new item.
So, i think they could do use something new. Like implementing grey in some sort of a Oilers kind of jersey.

I’ve always loved that we have kept the same look. It’s iconic and timeless.
The only thing that the "Hockeytown" logo did , that was painted over at least half of the winged wheel at center ice, was piss off the rest of the NHL and true Red Wings fans who loves the winged wheel by itself. Now, in a brilliant move from the marketing department, the genius's in suits, decided that a great way of making a few extra bucks, was to get rid of the iconic winged wheel on the helmets, and replace it with the Meijers' logo.Dumb asses.They know nothing about tradition.
I like that the Wings have stayed true to the classic logo, colors and design. The Winter Classic Cougar D (with Datsuk's letters of course) is probably my favorite "alternate". When they changed manufacturers from CCM/Koho back in the mid 2000s the stitching was different and the tip of the winged logo interfered with the C and As on the jerseys so they had to move them to the right side.
I'm 23 and I'm born and raised in Detroit, this is my first season EVER getting into watching the wings they playing pretty good…they my 2nd favorite Detroit apparel out of the 4
