"and this one will last a lifetime" so far that's been a true statement xD
Wee need it!!
Now they just have to wait another 54 to win it again
and they can't win with Lundqvist in net they are hopeless
Go Habs Go
LGR!!!!!!!!
Like they would really blow a 3-1 lead to the Canucks..
And guess who rioted after that? Wanna take a guess?
So there's still a chance for Blues?
I love these comments "the rangers suck". I guess making the playoffs constantly for almost a decade and making it past the second round 4 times in 6 years make you "suck". I'm telling you, sleep on the Rangers (especially this upcoming season) and you'll be sorry.
New York Rangers – 4 Stanley Cups in 90 years.
Pittsburgh Penguins – 5 Stanley Cups in 50 years.

Rangers may not have a lot of Stanley Cups, however, the loyalty is astronomical! 🔴⚪️🔵 #LGR
And won't win again for another 50 years.
…meanwhile in Vancouver
Let's go RANGERS
LGR. LGR. LGR
Oilers i mean Rangers had a good team that year
If I had to pick my personal favorite NHL moment it would be this one cause it was a long 54 year wait for those New York Rangers fans in 1994 to see them win the Stanley Cup at Madison Square Garden
Another 54 years ahead of them…..
Can we please win while I'm alive….please
Let that happen again
Fun fact: My parents were married 3 days before this happened.
26 years
Now Toronto takes the longest drought and may probably be longer than 54 years
And that is why it's better to have Mark Messier on your team than Wayne Gretzky.
RIP Pat Quinn, Canucks coach
This was probably Messier's sweetest Cup win. Cause it was one he had to work so damn hard for and one he had 54 years of pressure on him.
THE GREATEST NIGHT IN N.Y. SPORTS HISTORY…
NOW I CAN DIE IN PEACE…
It will always last a lifetime.
A) it was the 1st season i watched the nhl and saw Stanley.
But….i also named my daughter after Alex Kovalev.
New York Rangers: We have the longest Stanley Cup drought in NHL history.
Toronto Maple Leafs: Hold my beer.
😀😀😀
I have no doubt Messier at 60 right now in 2021 could suit up and still put up 30 or so points a year. Guy is a warrior, born to play hockey.
Isles fans say they bought that cup
After 54 years rangers won now they closing in to 30 years drought!
Being alive and in the City there was nothing like the NYR winning. Even bigger than the Yankees in 96. What it meant to the City can never be understated. Also hate to say it, the best Stanely Cup Championship Hat to boot.
Now it's been another 28 years 🙃
Welcome to a moment in history.
i want this so badly (i was born in 98)
Well, Patrick Kane and Vladimir Tarasenko are here now and maybe, Jonathan Toews will be next, if Kane and Tarasenko both re-sign with us this offseason. Let’s do this!
What people don't realize, this Stanley Cup gave other teams hope that they can win it too even if it's been a long Drought
and then they forget the cup in the taxi 😂
Lets bring it home again! Lets GO!!!
One of hockey’s darkest moments.
I’ll just keep coming back and watching this, like how I do with the Mets and Jets smh

The waiting IS OVER! THE NEW YORK RANGERS ARE THE STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS! AND THIS ONE WILL LAST A LIFETIME!
