  1. I watched both games tonight and I have to say this just in case the next night goes the same as this one.

Non-calls, bad calls, and lopsided suspensions. "They can't review it if it's not called in the first place." It might as well be called the Cheater's Cup because Lord Stanley not only rolled over, he got up and left, utterly disgusted with what the "playoffs" have turned into.

Unfortunately, the only thing I see nowadays are the NHL officials, constantly manufacturing the drama and deciding the winner.

Any team has a legitimate chance to win, they tell us.
    Parity, they tell us.

And then I see what I saw tonight and I remember what happened last year, and the year before, and the year before that, and the year before that, and so on, and so on, and so on.

I don't watch the NFL, I don't watch MLB, I don't watch the NBA, and I can't ignore it anymore. As it turns out, the NHL is no different than the rest of them. Proudly american.

Good luck the rest of the way and hopefully you don't get injured and have your lives ruined by some "official" meatheads who only care about money and don't give enough of a crap about players severely injuring their co-workers to actually enforce the rules.

It was a truly great season and a very fun ride.

    Protect yourself out there.

    Thank you.

  2. eichel pulls a guy around the boards like a utility trailer and oilers get penalty for it. ref on other end of the ice made the call. i'm bored of this

  3. is the nhl the most fixed "sport"? oiler outplayed vgk all night. i feel bad for the team. even when they crush refs make sure they cant win.

  4. Blaming the officiating is like blaming your parents for your life being effed up. That's just lame and pointless. Championship-winning teams find ways to win in spite of all the nonsense and bad calls. The Oilers are their own worst enemies with inconsistent play, inability to score at even strength and dumb mistakes. This is the best team they've had in 35 years; and they're blowing it. Its not the refs, or the league or some stupid Gary Bettman conspiracy theory. I'm not feeling very confident that they can win the next two games in a row, given their inconsistency and mistakes. I hope they prove me wrong!

  5. Oilers are done, just don't have that extra gear to dig deep..to win. Series is over..was a good run.

  6. Funny whenever Oilers lose they blame the refs even when they got 3 powerplay goals, maybe try scoring 5v5
