I remember reading some of those comments, I was a Leafs fan when they fired him, and I became a Sens fan…he’s a great coach, and really intelligent and entertaining.

Agreed 100%. He’s the best coach this club has ever had – the faulty calls for his dismissal from our fan base is why the league doesn’t take us seriously. The x and O’s adjustments he made the last 2 series is why we are where we at. Stop shitting on him and the team if we lose a few games – he knows way more hockey and how to win than our sorry asses!!

I hated his carefree attitude in post game interviews when we were struggling in the regular season. Now it’s what I love about him. He has gotten this team to play this oxymoronic mix of loose pressure-free hockey without sacrificing grittiness and hunger. He really was preparing this team for playoff hockey the whole time. We laughed at him and mockingly said « playoff hockey » after losses in the regular season and it was true the whole time.
