More disappointed in the Stars than I'm impressed with the Kracken. The Stars have had issues with slow, disinterested and unengaged starts all year and it generally cost them games just like this one did. However the real story here has been Otter and his performance in this series. He's allowed 5,6 & 4 goals in the three loses but it's his sv% that is actually worse than the goals allowed. This is definitelynot the guy from last year or the one from the first month of the season before getting injured. They cannot hope to win this series or the next with those numbers especially with Robo unable to score goals, Hakanpaa and Lindell being -4 and Benn and Seguin reverting to old form. I understand it's hard to put a team away especially on their ice but that was just a pitiful overall performance. Now the Kracken have the Stars right were they had the Avs and they're going to bring the house at them so the Stars better man up and deliver or start setting tee times.

If Seattle manages to win game 7 and Vegas can win game 6, we could very possibly have a first time Cup winner this year. If the final 4 is Seattle, Vegas, Carolina, Florida there is 1 Cup win between them. In the NBA only Denver has never won a title. You never get this in the NBA playoffs.

Pain to watch any games from europe, all of the playoffs have been during nights. During regular season there were some games every weekends that were watchable, well atleast there is the best hockey tournament in the world happening right now.
Kraken keeps on impressing me. Very tight team and hard to play against. Slowly becoming a fan.

Not a fan of either team here but Dallas looked super lazy and slow in the first period. I started to get the feeling they don’t appreciate the opportunity they have here. I can forgive lack of talent, I can’t forgive lack of effort. Seattle obviously understands and appreciates they’re in the NHL playoffs.

This game wasn't great for Dallas, yes. But even PDB said it's difficult to beat a team 3 times in a row this time of year.
Ultimately all the Stars have done is bounce back after a loss this playoffs and especially after a bad game. Especially Otter, I think he's like 21-1-2 or something after a loss this year. Stars actually haven't lost 2 in a row this playoffs. Stars won game 5 after 2-2 series, still have a 79% chance of winning the series historically. PDB is 6-0 in game 7s. And it's at home.
I think we have a fantastic likelihood of taking game 7.
My wife sent me for takeaway during the game… was 1-1 when I left.. came back it was 3-1 and then 4-1. It's all her fault! lol

Man, as a Kraken fan (and knowing you are a Dallas fan) i have so enjoyed your fair analysis this season. When nearly every other analysis is basically saying Seattle shouldnt be here, you provide a much more balanced view in a lrague where anything can happen. Thank you for your work!

What you say repeatedly on videos should be basically correct.
This has been the strangest year i can remember as far as playoff games go. Very few games seem back and forth and competitive. Feels like you know who is going to win almost every game after the first period. They alternate blowing each other out.
The Kraken are actually a very good team, with incredible depth. They were 4th overall for goals in the season, and first overall in 5 on 5 goals. They come in waves, score by committee, have excellent team speed, and play selflessly. All of these are key ingredients for a successful playoff team. Their regular season top goal scorer, McCann, has been playing on the 4th line. What did that tell you?
Many NHL fans can't figure out why they are winning, but that is because it usually takes many years to cobble together a team of this type.
Seattle has done it in 2 seasons, so for most, it's hard to believe.
I know you are a Stars fan, but you still are being honest with the state of the Stars right now.
If Dallas has another game like game 6 on Monday, their season is done.
The Kraken in the series against the Avalanche brought everything into that game 7 (sans McCann) and got the job done.

This is probably an unpopular opinion but I'd love to see Edmonton and Seattle face off for the Western Conference Finals. I was hoping it would be Seattle vs. Boston but I'd be happy with Seattle vs. Carolina at this point.
