This should be a good series. I am leaning toward the Panthers taking it. They just look like a team on a mission especially how they beat Boston. Let’s be clear though, they were a Marchand breakaway goal from being eliminated. With that said they handled the Leafs no problem. Can we not forget that the Canes were the ones who beat them RIGHT before playoffs, and were the ones who sent them to the bruins? You can argue the game before playoffs still has playoff game energy.
I’m leaning canes in 5 or 6 – Carolina’s defense and scoring depth are ridiculous. I think they have the better coach and I don’t think they’re gonna be caught off guard by Florida like Boston or Toronto at this point. I think it’s gonna be Vegas vs Carolina.
The canes have played the panthers pretty well since Brind’amour took over. I’m biased but I like my canes if we can get our PP going a bit more like it did against NYI. Florida isn’t a joke though, it’ll be the toughest and most physics opponent so far but that’s the playoffs
