Couldn’t even get 250 people to show up to their « save the team » rally, and people think that Quebec deserves another team

I feel a new Quebec team has to happen sooner or later. I understand the complications but it just feels wrong for them not having a team.
If Tempe AZ votes against the new arena – Yotes just need to pack it up and relocate to QC.

Then the Avalanche win it the very next year, just a total gut punch all around.
In the first year in Colorado they won the Stanley cup. It’s like been many years with a girl and both of you want a baby. But she decide to break apart and in the first year with her new boyfriend she get pregnant. It’s hard.

Can it get worse for a franchise? Their arch- enemy wins the Cup in 1993 (the Habs) and then after they leave Quebec they win the Cup. Wow.
I LOVED the Nordiques actually. My second favorite team back in the day. Cuz they were fast…..and always beat the shit out of the Habs with their bare knuckles. I’d be watching the Leaf game and then switch the channel and there was a bench clearing brawl with the Nordiques beating up those Habitants!

Sucks that the Nords are no longer… look at how much money they wasted on the Coyotes… and they didn’t give to Quebec. Bettman needs to go. This coming fron a Canuck fan on the west coast.

And the Quebec junior team just played in front of 18 000 people in the Videotron Center for the final. What a waste.

Even worse is that the Colorado Avalanche (Quebec Nordique) ends up winning the cup the next season.
The Colorado team has been around longer than the Quebec City team has existed.
