@Ligue nationale de hockey

Je vois ta collection de vieilles tasses et je t’élève avec des rondelles, à mon époque, la LNH avait 21 équipes

    Nice collection.

    Can you imagine if the Blues had actually moved to Saskatoon in (IIRC) 1983/1984?

    I wish pucks would go back to this design

    I miss the North Stars in Minnesota.

    Cool collection.

    Coming from a life long Pens fan. GOD DAMN!!! That Nordiques logo is sexy.

    Very nice, very retro. Trying to pin down dates here, 1979-1991 there were 21 teams. Sharks started play in the 1991-92 season. But since the Devils are on there, this is from 1982-83 on.

    Crazy thing is, 1978-79 season, there were only 17 teams in the NHL (the Cleveland Barons were folded into the Minnesota North Stars).

    You got me on a nice deep dive into NHL history tonight!

    I have that flyers puck, my dad bought it back in the 70’s.

    play 80 games, only 5 of 21 teams don’t make playoffs, lol

    Canucks skate logo ftw. 🙌

    This is the NHL I grew up with. You had to be really bad to miss the playoffs. I might even have that Caps puck.

    And as if the community couldn’t tell the center team is main attraction, still the ONLY USA team to win it 4 in a row. 1980s at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum was a place to be

    Those Sabres, Bruins, Canadians and Whalers just scream Adams Division to me in late 80’s as I was becoming a swords ⚔️ fan. As Buffalo couldn’t get past Boston or Montreal. Then 1993 happened and May Day!
