Salt Lake Saltines. Free pack of premium plus soda crackers at every seat.
I like salt lake, but houston is more likely still. At this point it comes down to what potential owner has the most $$ and balls, nhl would be ok with either market I think

I’m sure Mormons love hockey /s
FumblinginIgnorance
I want a team in Utah desperately but Vivint/Delta Center cannot be their home location. It’s horrible for hockey
Whataboutizm
The Salt Lake Charlatans

If NHL comes to SLC, they will build a new arena either 20 miles south of downtown at the new « The Point » development or at the site if the potential MLB stadium just west of downtown. That location has my vote
MAHHockey
That is not « ready ». That’s the same shite the Coyotes had to deal with at America West, and the Islanders had to deal with in Brooklyn, but split between each end instead of all the obstructed views being at one end.
A move to SLC would absolutely require a new facility. But the Delta Center is old enough that it could probably be justified as a multi-use facility for both the Jazz and Coyotes.
TheRitalinCommando
My god that would be a stupid idea.
There’s no way SLC could support 2 winter sports.
Sad_Establishment875
Feels like the upper level is going to have some absolutely horrible sight lines
Judge_Rhinohold
No seats behind the goals doesn’t really scream National League.
scranton_strangler26
Nah send them to Milwaukee
EyeHeartBidets
It doesn’t even hold 14,000 for hockey though. It’s not a long term solution.
GroundbreakingCow775
Are you Brooklyn in disguise?
TorontoMapleQueefz
Too small, it would be pathetic if an NHL team played there
Archduke_Of_Beer
A Salty Lake would have even LESS ice than a desert!!
Allatura19
They’d likely go with the Maverik Center. Host of Olympic hockey.
SLC does have two aging arenas (Vivint/Maverik), so a new arena might make sense for them.
uggh-daddy-please
This is a joke

Ok, but Québec is literally ready

Those 65″ screens or the fancy 82″ ones? You get Netflix?

That would be a cool spot
Not big enough.
Looks like shit
No more small markets, Houston is a better choice

Fuck Utah. Kansas City should get it.
Ewwww please no. Id rather my Coyotes go to Houston.
Their fans will all be cousins.
SLC resident here:
To be honest, the attendance and demand would be super high and they’d be great fans.
Lol absolutely not. As a Canadian I would prefer to see KC or Houston.
If that’s all it takes, they’d be better off in Kansas City
The arena is just gonna end up being like Barclays
You guys have no idea what kind of enemy you all are making shitting all over AZ and AZ fans. Just you wait.
Alright folks, if Utah actually gets the Yotes* this might be a mullet arena stopgap measure until some proper arena is built.
*name subject to change
Come on Salt Lake Super Soakers!
Slight upgrade to what they have now. Idk, Houston has a near-NHL-ready arena though…
Quebec City is the only guaranteed earner
NAAA!! Would look better in Sask, or QC!
