Retour sur les Flames de Calgary de 1989

À ce jour, c’est la seule équipe des Flames à avoir remporté un championnat. C’était une équipe impressionnante. 1. Love these series, hearing what the teams were like before I started watching hockey, or was even born for that matter, is great

  2. This is my fave series that you do! I love getting a peak at the ones when I was too young to even notice NHL living in Norway.Looking forward to hearing what you think about Ed Belfour when we get there 😉 My fave goalie, to bad he didn't win with the Blackhawks.

  3. I really do enjoy this series. Keep it up. I'm looking forward to the era when I got old enough to enjoy NHL.

  4. The Hull trade made sense due to the fact that the flames had very good depth on the wing – Ramage came in and rounded out the the top 4 on defence and made the flames very hard to break down because you had McInnis and Suter and Ramage and Mcrimmon playing about 75% of the game.

Fletcher knew he was giving up a good player and even believed hull was going top be 50 goal scorer down the road, what he didn't know was that he was going to be an 80+ goal scoerer too.

  5. Don't the hockey gods didn't forget otto's goal in game 6 in the 04 Stanley Cup finals

  6. whatching these videos very happy waiting the Ducks episode im from Finland IF you get it

  7. I know you like to talk about rats, and I think you should discuss someone who was an even bigger rat than Kin Linseman: Jim Peplinski. That guy actually cut holes in the fingers of his gloves, so that he could more effectively grab opposing player's jerseys while running offensive interference.

  8. I am trying to recreate this line in nhl 19. Could somebody please break down the 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th lines for me? Can get the roster details but not the line combos.

  9. Trading Mullen was a HUGE mistake. Flames should have had one or 2 more cups between 88-92 but too many core changes and the guys remaining just seemed not want to do the things it took to go deep. They were the best team in the league in that stretch but couldn't summon up what it took except the one year and almost lost to Van in the first round of 89. It's like it took a round to wake them up.

  10. This guy is still salty all these years lol.. yet Calgary is still a Stanley Cup champions.. I could argue Joe Mullen is also a hall of famer but that whole team was stacked with stars

  11. Met AL Macinnis the summer of 2002. His son was playing in the Brick invitational it the ice palace. Nice guy.

  12. I just watched the 89 flames, habs game 6 final for the first time this evening🔥🔥🔥 😊
Just before we lost 6-1 Ottowa tonight……….

  13. That was a very good calgary flames team. So many legends of the game. Such a sad thought they didn't win more cups than the one in 1989
