Being german i remember finding out about the NHL in the 80s when i was a teenager. For us europeans it was not easy to watch the games back in the days but i was BLOWN away by what i saw. I am so glad that i had the chance to see Gretzky, Messier, Lemiuex, Yzerman, Sakic, Lindros, Bourque and many other canadian legends of the game in their prime. Witnessing Leon entering his prime now is something that brings great joy to my troubled mind and i am very thankful for that. I live 20 mins away from his german home.
