Should have kept GERALD…
Should have never fired Gallant. The players should be looking in the mirror instead of blowing up the coach. I can’t imagine what the problem is for them, other than him asking them to work harder in all three zones. I saw 18 guys that didn’t want it as bad as the Devils. If you don’t want to play for your coach, that’s on you. Take it up with him after the series. Furthermore, if you don’t want to play for the coach, then play for yourself, your teammates, and the fans. I never understood that logic that the players gave up on the coach. How about going out there and maintaining your dignity by playing even harder and winning despite the coach’s shortcomings? Players who do that can never play on my team. Whoever they are, they need to go. Don’t care who…even if it’s the big star players. Don’t care. They gotta go.
