  1. Nice video I’m an oilers fan by the way just shows how Edmonton needs to calm down defensively. Too many guys running around and I know why they do it they are trying to get the puck as fast as they can to make a stretch pass up the ice. But they are leaving the goalie wide open now this defensive style would be okay if they had a goalie that could make the tough saves Skinner is not that guy not yet at least. I think for the oilers a better defence strategy would be to do what Vegas did just collapse to the net clog up the middle.

  2. I knew Draisaitl was bad defensively, but I didn't realize he was THAT bad.

  3. American team losses in a series. Next minute everybody forgets about it.
Canadian team losses in a series. Hours and hours of heated debate, with charts and experts.

Wake up people. Canadian teams suck. All elite Canadian players are playing for American clubs. Best player of Toronto is American, best player of Edmonton is German. It’s all you need to know about Canadian hockey in NHL.

  4. At what point are they going to stop with uisng sticks, gloves and/or nets? Can't they see themselfs in a monitor? It looks redicolous! Oh, and if you get up from behind the desk, wear dress shoes with a suit. Talk to Lunquist If you need assistannce with how to dress. He is honestly the only person I can watch and listen too. No, I am not a NY Ranger fan and I don't live or come from NY

  5. Good analysis, boys ! WHAT Edmonton needs to do, is TEACH THOSE GUYS, TO EACH TAKE A MAN, INSIDE the ' dots ' faceoff circles. Very talented, offensively, but rather clueless when it comes, to defensive methods in their own end. Those New Jersey Devils, of the olden days, when Yzerman and Stevens, etc were there, should be REQUIRED WATCHING FOR THESE YOUNGSTERS. NO man left standing around near the net, within 30 feet. Anyway…..have a great day / week / life, peoples !

  6. All that talk about how terrible Mike Smith was and how it was all his fault, the irony that they would still be playing if they kept him. No way does he let in some of the shots Skinner did

  7. I've always said I can never tell if the oilers play man to man or zone, and I don't think they know either…

  8. SAY IT OUT LOUD !!!!!!!!! Darnell Nurse $ 9.2 million is a BIG MISTAKE !!!!!!!!! / useless / out of position / on all 4s more than my Dog .
AND BEHIND THE NET ON THE WINNING GOAL !!!!!!!! Teammates must LOVE HIM !

  9. That’s cause the oilers are too focused on trying to make history so they continue to go in circles and try to cheat rather than play defense, I’m okay with this cause they’re eliminated 😂

  10. Thank you from the bottom of my heart woodcroft for not caring 🙏 so happy those clowns are out

  11. You will NEVER Zein the stably cup if you’re not gelling these guys were sick of playing hockey and just wanna enjoy a game of golf why bother trying to win the cup if you’ve already got your paycheque forget about it Canadians will support their teams win or lose doesn’t matter I don’t see a Stanley cup in Canada for many decades to come

  12. Everyone knows what they should have done in each play after you watch how it unfolds in slow motion. "See how that guy goes left here? The defenseman should have also gone left." Yeah thanks, smart guy. What if he went right?

  13. Why are these two guys holding hockey sticks as they commentate???It looks so ameteurish!

  14. the only thing more awkward than the oilers defence is this segment

  15. Your breakdown was right on target. The players get lazy in the derfensive zone. I saw it a lot on the highlites I saw. Once they get that fixed they will be tough to be beat

  16. It should have been Campbell who started in net,too much pressure for a rookie goalie.

  17. How come Sportsnet never talks about this. They don't really like to point out the Oilers flaws. I guess it's because they're a Canadian team? Ron MacLean in particular seems in love with them.
