It wasn’t his objectively terrible play that made us hate him so much. It was that we could all clearly see it and he insisted on gaslighting us every night, like we were some sunbelt fan base that didn’t know hockey and didn’t just see him stick-check Sergei Fedorov cutting to the middle for his second goal of the night in a 3-0 loss.
