I didn't think the Stars would make it this far.
It's whatever. Fully expected.
I don’t think the boys make it to the next round. My prediction was that they made it to the second round in a 1-4 or 2-4 series. So I was pleasantly surprised. I think the season was a success. Being the final four is something to be extremely proud of. Hopefully they prove me wrong again. I certainly wouldn’t be mad.
Right now the Panthers have Jesus in their clubhouse and they just can't lose. Bobrovsky is playing out of this world, unlike Otter, and Florida has been playing absolutely fearless in front of him and playing with house money.10-1 in their last 9, 8 straight on the road and 6-0 in OT. Those numbers are simply outrageous and NO team ever has put those kind of numbers up and NOT won the cup. I truly hate Cinderella teams that suck all year and barely squeak in and somehow morph into a historical and unstoppable juggernaut to win it all and then they turn back into the pumpkins they were before the run and don't do squat the next season. It just seems so unjust. It is what it is. The Stars most likely are not even getting there so Vegas will have to be their last punching bag in their unbelievable magical season.
The Stars have only come back from 0-2 down in a best-of-seven series, just once, in franchise history and that was in their very first playoff series back in 1968 against the Los Angeles Kings. That's also the last time my high school alma mater won the state title in boys' basketball, the Lake Highlands Wildcats. They just won their second state title earlier this year. Hmmm…….

I got a bad feeling from the start on this series. I was hoping for a Texas Florida state Stanley cup championship. Looks bleak as for as Dallas Texas goes.
