[Wilde] Comparaison de la performance de Slafkovskys aux Championnats du Monde 2022 à celle de Leo Carlsson et Adam Fantilli en 2023.
If you look at the modest results so far from Fantilli and Carlsson
Fantilli 6 GP 0-2-2
Carlsson 6 GP 1-2-3and the results of Slafkovsky last year
Slafkovsky 8 GP 3-6-9
it does put a nice shine on Slafkovsky’s World Championship performance.

Logan Cooley didn’t even make the squad
For context, this is the same tournament where Roman Cervenka was the leading scorer, and Slaf outscored Hischer and Barzal, so I’m not sure how much you can read into Slaf’s performance there, or any player in such a short sample size.
The sooner people realize that international performances, positive or negative, doesn’t mean shit, the better
Slafgodsky
I’m still super hyped about Slafkovsky. I think he’s gonna be an absolute beast for us. Hoping he manages to turn into a Matthew Tkachuk-like puck handler with a mean streak. He’s got all the tools necessary to be great, and I think he will be. Hoping for nice progression from him next season — perhaps 25 goals, 50-55 points? That’d be sweet
Give him time.
