Kozlov’s hit on Foote ignited the rivalry…..Never Forget. The outcome of the hit on Draper was unfortunate but the hatred was already in place, before that happened.

It’s funny y’all think this rivalry didn’t die in 2008.
This is an ugly look, y’all. The rivalry is loooong since over (that hit was almost 30 years ago), and the rest of the world has moved on. It was great while it lasted, but Jesus Christ, the Av’s just won a cup last year. The Wings are a husk of their former selves, and the Avs have rebuilt into a competitive team. Shouldn’t y’all move on to hating how Seattle was just given every chance by the officials to beat us?
By far! The greatest rivalry ever! It was fun to watch.
