Let’s just hope Gary Bettman let him play in the NHL one day.

I’m sure the Habs aren’t going to rush this kid into the NHL. He will end up in Laval for two seasons and will be Savard replacement once his contract expires. The organization will continue to mentor him and make sure he is growing as a person and learning from his mistakes.

Knights didn’t add at the deadline, this team was going as far as mailloux could take them

Good for him; though unfortunately I suspect there is always going to be a vocal crowd of people who will never think he has done enough mea-culpas to move on. Hope he can prove all the haters wrong when he hits MTL ice

« He’s always been strong defensively and his offensive game has started to turn around, » said Knights coach Mark Hunter. « He got some goals and points in the playoffs.

« His leadership’s always been there. I just think he needs some strength, and when he’s 230 (pounds), the Montreal Canadiens will love him. »

That’s all good, but how he acts in the locker room has never been the issue.

Liptrap is a hell of a last name.

Also this would be more meaningful if it wasn’t coming from his agent.
