  1. Ekholm had me at hello man !!! It's weird not seeing him in yellow but I love him in Blue !!!

  2. I thought Ek answered the questions very well and he exactly right…the Oilers need to learn how to close-out and win 2-1 or 3-2 games in the playoffs.

  3. Edmonton fans called Vegas fans “uneducated,” all series and y’all don’t even know what a follow through is? Lol that’s rich…. FORE!!

  4. That fricken high stick they missed, glad you all get to see him..o well next year they better all brace themselfs cause Edmonton is gonna be hungry.

  5. Love it when the NHL is literally doing everything they can to make an American team win the cup, that the refs miss a potential double-minor in the final four minutes of a series clinching game. I'm sure the refs "missed" the call. Imagine what the best powerplay in history would've done with their season on the line, an empty a net and a 4 minute powerplay with the 2 best players in the world on the ice. We could've still been better of course, Vegas is still a great, deep team but I Just wonder what could've happened.

  6. Man Ekholm completely understands what these team needs to do to actually win out in the postseason, and I'm excited to see him work with out group for a lot longer time period next year. We really only had this guy for a few months, it's gonna take time.

Get that top pairing to play with nurse, and bring back most of the team, and focus on better D play and I think the Oilers make a real serious run next year.

  7. As a hockey fan, something that’s very offputting about the game is how the teams which are succeeding are literally trying to injure the opposing team in order to win. All these missed calls by the refs, it makes me not want to watch hockey anymore. These types of incidence like Draisaitl’s almost broken wrist would be considered a crime outside of hockey. When did letting the real skilled players succeed become out of style? Now we have to injure in order to win? I’d rather watch hockey and be impressed by their skills. Not these controversial “intent to injure” plays. I meant look at Elkholms eye.

  8. Ekholm put his body on the line. Our team broke down but not because he didn't contribute, a gem and a staple, also the one that has contributed to our defensive core. Hyman get better and do better.

  9. Ekholm absolutely nailed the teams flaws and what it needs to win in the playoffs. Hyman nailed the feelings off the entire team and fan base. We got this next year even though it will be tuffer mountain to climb

  10. Vegas is not that good u guys didn’t play up to the ability to beat them. If u guy’s playing like game 2&4. They have no chance. Lesson to learned..

  11. Ek has been HUGE (& Bouchard should pay him $1mil as has improved his game by $2mil – was worthless/ full of very lazy errors before Ek came along. Hyman has a great attitude too. Too bad Yamo,Kan & RNH can't compete at the playoff level – & why does Nurse do so many really bad things at the worst time for the team (suspend self forcing Broberg – penalty – loss).

  12. imagine how this conversation would go if Ekholm was a pro soccer player. it would be 15 minutes of crying about the other player, team, league and how the world has wronged him for the mortal wound he's endured. these guys are essentially Spartans.

  13. The guys played great, but a lot was left on the Table by the Team due to Management mis-cues…Eckholm was given fair warning before the Oilers were dismantled tactically ….he was directed to tighten up his game IN THE SLOT….it was no fluke the Oilers lost how they did….Mattias was warned ahead of time by Moma2 to make it a little more sportsmanlike.
