RD is a premium position and he’s taken major strides defensively the past couple years.
He’s also almost a decade younger than Bergeron, and who even knows if he’s going to play another year.
And that’s why anybody who thinks he’ll take a « hometown discount » to stay with us for like $1 mil doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
Believe it or not he ain’t a bad player and leadership skills are very important to teams so yeah him being a top UFA doesn’t surprise me at all.
I’d love to go back through my comments and @ all the folks who’ve said I’m an idiot for suggesting that the floor for Dumba is probably 7M but I’m too lazy to do it.
