Fan favorite for many years, but I’m not sure that’s the right play for the team. He lost a step 2 years ago, and seemed to lose another big step this year. This year seemed like the wall for him – started losing big faceoffs, out of position defensively, bad timing penalties, and his already slow speed became slowest player on the ice speed. I’m grateful for the years he gave us, but I really think it’s time to move on.
