Why god, what have we done to deserve this.

Everyone who said fire Gallant. Will you be happy with this? Monkey’s Paw gets you every time.

Terrible decision, feels like Dolan might be forcing it but who knows

This team isn’t ever winning a cup

I don’t know why people are suprised about this. Dolan wants to win now, Drury is goning onto his 2nd (and possibly last if this goes real bad) coaching hire, and the last new hire we had was Quinn who has failed miserably everywhere except BU (even there he lost a Natty with Eichel to Roon Dawg and PC). Absolutely nobody was rolling the dice on Knoblauch, Carberry, or any other first time head coach. This was always gonna be the course of action. I understand *why* people wanted a fresh face and younger guy that’d try to make development a 1A/1B with winning but after the round 1 we just had with the roster we had that simply was not gonna be in the cards.

I’m not thrilled, but I’ll take Laviolette over Q or Babcock any day.

Never thought Gallant should have been let go with the current crop of free agent coaches. Hoping for the best but I struggle to see how this is an improvement.

I’m fine we fired gallant but god damn if this isn’t the most uninspiring choice possible
