If brown and soucy are free agents wouldn't it be a good idea to make a deal with Chicago to dump 3 or 4 contracts to make room for them and get a good draft pick in return

I hope not. Getting rid of nuge would be a huge mistake. It makes sense for Boston they want their Bergeron replacement, but it makes 0 sense for the Oilers
I don’t mind RNH being traded, he’s basically been a no show in playoffs since day one and is now just coasting along with Draisaitl and McDavid for points. Yamo, one of either Ceci or Kulak, one of either Kane or RNH can go. Campbell can also go. I’d probably hold on to RNH for part of the regular season then trade him for a Patrick Maroon type player for playoffs.

Ok 1st off RNH has no move clause
there has been no mention of vincent desharnais but he had a really poor performance in the playoffs. I think the oilers should acquire a more reliable option just in case if he does not play well next playoffs.
