L’entraîneur vétéran Gerard Gallant fera partie de la recherche d’un nouvel entraîneur-chef des Flames de Calgary, selon TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun. Les Flames ont récemment contacté Gallant pour voir si l’ancien chef de banc des Rangers de New York serait intéressé à potentiellement entraîner les Flames et la réponse a été « oui », rapporte LeBrun.

Yes let’s get rid of tyrant Sutter because he became a cancer and add gallant who only lasts 3 years max wherever he coaches because he is a tyrant
Yeah but the Flames shouldn’t want Gallant. He’s been the same story 3 straight times now: great start, signs of problems, fired before his 3rd season concludes.

Gallant will be paid by the Rangers for the next two seasons if he can’t latch onto another team so he’s not desperate although he still must apply for openings. Laviolette is without an income so he’s champing at the bit to get hired and if Columbus wants to win, get on the phone and hire him.
