2 on the +/so do you still feel good about your historic come back? you still feel good about a game 7 oh yeah, that’s right he lost game 6 6-0 what happened I thought Jamie Benn was a 30 goal scorer. I thought he was going to provide a spark for you? And I hate to tell you, but I don’t know if you’ve looked at the history of Peter DeBoer’s systems and records after the first season of where he coaches after the first season, it all goes downhill from there . Oh, and I thought Oettinger was becoming the old Ottinger of last year.They had found a winning lineup without Benn and even though it would have been a bitter pill, DeBoer should’ve kept him out of the lineup for the series and kept Olofsson in. Sad to see it end this way but oh well, the ride has been fun, better luck next season.

I completely agree with the defense take. It seems to need a game or two of recharge before its back to being useable, not good for playoffs.

Said it since game 1. Soft ass Stars team. No heart. No grit. No testicular fortitude. Refuse to hit. Pure skill. They better go out and get some players with those qualities to back up all the skilled players. Benn was a huge disappointment. Didn't stand up for Pavs against the wild. Would not hit. Did not lead. He's a power forward playing with 0 power. Lindell refused to hit. Hankapaa also. "Big bruising defensemen..?" Where was the bruising? They were a joke. Lindell used to hit. He was our worst defenseman all playoffs. He should be our best shutdown guy who can hit.
thx you for ur great reporting all year long, i've watched every single game(every shift) including season n playoff games, its always tough when it comes to an end, and this year is even harder since i felt like we had a more than legitimate chance to win the cup, Miro is a terrific defensemen the way he takes charge of games, his personality, his maturity and his will to become a champion, it makes me convinced he will see his days in the sun someday for now its been a pleasure watching ur videos on the regular, have a great off season 🙂

The silver lining was conference finals… not forcing game 6. Yer waaaaayyyy overselling their winning 4 and 5. Vegas didnt look desperate at any time. Ffs they came out loose as shit and basically sais :ok… enuff fckn around". Stop w the glass is MORE than half full. They looked ugly… Benn doesnt deserve the Captaincy… if they really had the momentum and blood was in the water, thwy shoulda had Vegas on their heels. Instead, they sorta laughed off the 2 wins Dallas got back and bitch slapped em.

What Star fans are going to eventually realize is that it’s all downhill from here with DeBORE as your coach. That guy peaks season 1 for every team he coaches. He is by far the most overrated coach in the NHL and all VGK fans are thrilled he’s not on our team anymore, we liked Gallant so much better and now Cassidy of course. DeBORE will ruin your organization.

It's been a great season, it's sad how Game 6 turned out — Dallas looked as you said, empty in the tank — they looked sleepy and at halfspeed and lost — just can't win games in that state. But, it is what it is and can't wait till next year. I'll get to see the Stars play against Arizona in a pre-season game in Cedar Park this Sept so me and my family are excited for that! I've enjoyed being a new subscriber to the podcast, good job Dane!

The core of this Dallas team is essentially unchanged for the last two to three seasons. It doesn't have what it takes. Time to move on from this core.
What went wrong ? 1) you jumped on and off the bandwagon 2) look at the season stats +- and look at the playoff stats. Huge HUGE differential. Even 4 look human. Suter, atrocious at best. Lindell must be injured because he was pathetic. Look at seguin n Marchment disappearance. Their OT record was also a factor all playoffs. Can I ask why was Colin Miller benched? He played the WHOLE season. You can’t tell me he was worse than 20, 23, !!!!
Why do you keep talking about the Dallas Stars? The analyst never talk about the Vegas Knights at all even at ESPN. When will they be taken seriously as a good team!!!

VGK fans here through and through but gotta give it to Dallas Star, you guys gave us VGK fans heart attacks and kept us on our toes. Trash talking aside, you guys are an Awesome team and played with a heart; and I like Pete Deboer. Im sure you guys will be back stronger than ever next season!
