Not sure that deal gets Necas, but I’d be all aboard. I like him
He’s coming off his best season, so it’s tough like how desperate are they to shift pieces… but then you could also say will he be as good with detroits current set up. I don’t know if this is the move.
If they’re moving Necas it’s in a blockbuster with Pesce and a 1st for Marner, or with Morrow and a 1st for Keller. I don’t even think Hall is better than Necas at this point. I think the idea of quantity achieving the star player goals needs to be set aside, it takes a rare set of circumstances for a team to part with a young star for quantity. A recent example being the sharks being years away with nothing in their pool so they gave up Meier, that should’ve been a target.
Taylor hall for zadina/veleno and a third? Seems pretty darn light
1. Why would Boston do this?
2. Why would Carolina do this?
3. Detroit is giving up the least and getting the best player in return.
I think Necas for Kubalik + Boston 1st + a younger forward prospect (Cross Hanas?) would be close.
