Neil, I was looking forward to this video since the series started. What I like about Calgary Flames – 1. The city (I've been there a few times and it is gorgeous with Canada's largest park – Nose Hill Park), 2. The Stadium (the atmosphere at the Dome is electric with the C of Red cheering them on and flames when the Flames score), 3. The logo (simple but elegant), 4. Jarome Iginla (he was one of my fav. player in recent times) – a future hall of famer for sure, 5. The C of Red who cheer for the team even when the team is 2-0 down at home. By the way, Flames are my fav. team in the West and Maple Leafs in the East (though I have soft spots for the Canadian teams). I wish I could choose 10. Can I choose 10, Neil? Can't wait for my second team in the West – VANCOUVER CANUCKS!!!

5 things I like:
1. Their home and Road Jersey (Not the damn retro jerseys)
2. When they score at the Dome, the goal horn and the flames that shoot out just a cool experience! (bathrooms suck tho)
3. A lot of the players- Tanguay, Hudler, Lindholm, Ramo, Berra, Backlund and Cammalleri etc
4. 2014-2015 when I moved back to Calgary and that season was so much fun
5. I love living in this city

I struggle to find anything I like about the Flames… However the one thing I do like is how scared of any Oilers players or staff Harvey is… I'm not sure why that could be 😂

Neil, I just watched this morning a new Hockey movie on Netflix I really think you’d like. It’s called Indian Horse. I have to warn you, it’s not the most “uplifting”, “feel good” movie ever made, but very good none the less. It was made in 2017, and Clint Eastwood produced it.
I prefer the white logo to be honest….its unique…there's way too many black and red teams in the nhl.
1) The city – I like the mountains where you could go skiing in the winter and hiking and camping in summer. Also the stampede in July like the wild west look on the city.
2) Goals- when Flames scored the goals they have a ball of Flames after the goals.
3) The Saddledome- it is old and we need a new arena but the Saddledome will be missed it has lot of history and it is part of the backdrop when you see Calgary on Tv. Also C of Red in the dome when go to the game live it is cool to see all red in the dome
4) Johnny Hockey and Jarome
5) 1989 stanley cup win. that when I moved to Calgary and cheered on my Flames.
I’m glad you enjoy Calgary! As a local, it can get pretty boring at times but the location is amazing. Like you said, we can see the mountains and there are so many amazing national parks and locations nearby. If you ever come back, hopefully I can meet you!

Hey man I just watched your video it was probably like hands down the best video because I'm a die-hard Flames fan you wanted to list things about the Calgary Flames well one is Joe nieuwendyk second one of these Gary Roberts they came from where I grew up and I live two doors down from Garrett Roberts and I lived in Whitby Ontario keep up the good work

Calgary is so underrated as a city imo. Especially for peeps who love the outdoors like myself. Yeah other cities have more of a nightlife, but Calgary has some great low key pubs to watch games in and the Stampede is hella fun.

One thing i love about Calgary is the shoulder patches. Every other team has patches that have something to do with their team. Calgary has the Alberta and Canada flags on their shoulders patches. Grapes even mentioned it on coaches corner once about how he loved it and wished the other Canadian teams would follow suit.
1-Lanny McDonald with the greatest ending of a hockey career.
2-Iginla being so close to matching Lemieux for scoring 5 goals 5 different ways in a game,Iginla got 4 and missed getting the penalty shot.
3- The rivalry we have with the Oilers.
4-Harvey The Hound
5- The resurgence of the love for this team in 2004 after so many disappointments since '89 cup.
