  1. Biggest whiner in the league. Go try and win another half cup. This is what a real back to back champion looks like cooper, take notes

  2. Regardless of your opinions on his answers here, there is one objective truth. Pens are the least penalised team in the league, and by a good margin too (0.2 less penalties/game than 2nd least Dallas this season). This also isn't the first season in recent history where that's been the case. That part is just factual, how you want to interpret those statistics are up to you.

  3. If the refs actually called penalties by the rulebook the boxes would be full the entire game, every game!
One of the many reasons why the NHL is garbage.

  4. Where have been Coop this has been going since they had number 66 now God forbid 87 gets touched !!!!
Hey Pittsburgh I HAVE YOUR PENGUINS RIGHT HERE !!!!!!!!

  5. It's insane that people still think refs are unbiased after the Tim Peel incident…"It wasn't much, but I wanted to get a f***ing penalty against Nashville…"

  6. It’s true the penguins are the least penalized team. However, everyone on YouTube also says they’re the softest team in the league. So you might not actually need referee bias to explain why they aren’t penalized to the extent other teams are. That said, watching some of those scrums I get it from Cooper

  7. Wonder how happy he will be when he finds out that "number 4" will be working his game tonight also.

  8. What I heard “I’ve been abusing officials for years I’m not sure why I got a penalty for it now”

  9. Just reading all the comments….did Cooper complain once about the loss….yeah, i didnt hear that either….just about what he considered a bad call and lack of explanation….

  10. Lmao… the knights game was even worse. They gave a penalty to rakell because whiteclouds own stick jammed himself. It’s unbelievable how one sided every single knights game is with these refs.

  11. I agree with John Cooper. I would also add during the playoffs last season it was very obvious that the referees were trying to prevent a repeat by the lightning. How in the hell do you get two calls for goalie interference when the guy gets cross checked in the back into the goalie? Bias that's how.

  12. In most sports we acknowledge the lack of responsibility that refs or umps have to incur from a bad call / no call and are rarely given explanations for why. Perfectly legitimate to get angry about this once in a while.

  13. Well Jon someone has to be the Lowest Penalized team in the League, it's called discipline something your team doesn't have. 😥

  14. To be honest I see coaching staff yelling shit at refs quite often, I am surprised we don't see these ejections more often

  15. As a Ranger fan i agree. The Penguins and Cindy Crosby, get specialty treatment by the refs, no doubt.

  16. He’s such a baby in this interview. The leafs beat them he needs to grow up. What a loser. There was another part of the interview when he said the leafs didn’t play good. Wtf. That’s why I’m saying he acted like a baby. He got spanked. I hope they embarrass him again. What poor loser.

  17. Seems to me Cooper whined enough during the finals. Reviewing every Avs goal in game 6, without being called for a delay of game.
