You absolutely keep the Penguins top three together. Those guys are still dominating and are amongst the best in the league in their respective positions. Crosby is a top five player all time. Get outta here with that take. Crosby, Malkin, Letang are all first ballot Hall of Famers. Jarry was also not that bad last season. He had a .909 save percentage last year, which was ABOVE average. Jarry’s biggest issue is staying healthy. He played most of the season injured last year. By all means he’s a good goalie, but he cannot stay healthy

I truly hope Treliving does a great job and gets us over the hump, but hearing Jesse and Adam talk about Dubas not winning anything, you have to remember Treliving had 9 years in Calgary and also won nothing and is coming to a much better team than he just left.

Regarding the finals patch, the Red Wings had the same issue in 08 and 09 because the size of the logo didn't leave room for their letters to be on the traditional side. The league knew cramming two patches together would work because they've done it before just not for advertising.

There is zero better center than Malkin at a cheaper price and there is at best 5 better Dman and cheaper Dman than Letang. It's not like those guys were good, but on bad contract.

Guys. I know you're making fun of the pens with the "older core 4" but Crosby, Malkin and Letang combined make less than Tavares and either Matthews OR Marner. There's significantly more wiggle room around those guys than there was in Toronto.
hopefully Adam focusing on SDPN full time helps him do a bit of research so his horrific takes about the penguins core can improve ☺️
