  1. SAMSONATOR DESERVES A SHOT AT NO1!!!
He was a great goalie this season!!!

Backup: Jospeh Woll! This kid is great! We are good in net!!!

WE NEED GOOD DEFENDERS!!!! And a forward, who scores in post season like he does in regular season would be a great addition as well…
I still think John Tavarez makes to much money for his effort! And I am a huge Mitch Marner fan, but he was to weak in the playoffs as well!
If they really trade Willie, I think they are out of their minds!!!

Trade Muzzin, Brodie and Tavarez and spend the money on grinder!

  2. Keep both goalies and spend money on the D men .Get rid of 1 or 2 of the cor 4 and bring in tougher guys that can produce even 20 goals a season

  3. Sammy is going to sign with Pittsburgh, Matt Murray will be traded with a 2nd round pick + 50% salary retained to Pittsburgh as Dubas wants.

  4. Samsonov seems better but a little injury prone. Woll has to be given a shot at #1 though – he is a young guy getting paid nothing and the leafa can control his future. More than anything the Leafs need a stud defender

  5. Tanev and Lindholm for Marner + , a re-signed O'Reilly would be a decent + if the number is less than the 1.6 difference in the deal .Calgary would also probably move Markstrom if the Leafs wanted to take Markstrom and either Tanev , Lindholm or possibly Toffoli for Marner with no + to make the numbers work .

  6. Gibbson is looking to be traded to a contender. Gibbson and a couple of top picks for Marner?

  7. Both stoppers proved themselves in the Playoffs, and they have cheap contracts

  8. Everybody wants a 'Bob" in net but that's a dreamy approach so the rest of the team has to buckle down and find ways to make the goalies job a little easier or shall we say manageable ?

  9. As a goalie back in high school/AAA days, I can say confidently that goalies long term performance is mostly tied to the quality of their teams defense. You can’t save deflections or odd man breaks. Defenses that consistently let dudes stand in the crease and impose their will, will end up giving up goals even with Patrick Roy in net

  10. If it takes 5 or more years to develop a goalie, please don’t ever get one in the first two rounds

  11. I can remember the day a leafs fan told me that Murrey was their savior. Did I miss something?

  12. Fix the defenceman problem that's screwed us for the last 4 dubious years .toughn up are wingers keep are goalys boom Stanley cup
