Every time I watch this video, Vancouver loses.
Tom Thomas nowhere near "on top of his crease"
When bittersweet symphony plays on the organ tho
Bruce would have won
A great moment as a bruins fan, this year has real potential to finally get back to the top we shall see
Took me 12 years to watch this again. It still hurts the same
Luongo was easily the most overrated goalie in NHL history, but he got all the dough.
Sorry weren't there two brothers from Sweden on this Canucks team I think their names were MISSSEDIN in action
Always winning the Cup is better at home. But if you have to win it on the road its nice winning it in a Canadian city that truly understands and respects the game. No other city in the US gives it the same as Boston.
Crazy that Tim Thomas was 37, lol. The athleticism he had at nearly 40 years old is ridiculous. Long time coming, must have felt amazing to win the cup and the MVP at that point in his life.
i was almost 12 when this happened man to think we were so close in my lifetime was crazy id always hear the storys about the 94 run from my parents and older brother.. n i was like man i wonder if we will go all the way n win in my lifetime.. n we almost did n lost in the same game…. this 2023 squad can win a cup obvs not this season but we can be a contender by next if we mange it right
I live in Canada and in the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs I was passionately cheering for the Canucks, but hey, What else can I say? The Bruins were the better team. I used to despise Boston, and now, 12 seasons later, with Boston's record 55-11-5 currently, I'm passionately cheering for Boston to win the Cup.
Side note: I find it absolutely disrespectful how the Canucks fans were booing the Stanley Cup Ceremony. The ceremony should be treated with respect for the trophy and the team that shed blood, sweat, and tears just to win it! You don't want to see Boston hoist the Cup? Leave before the ceremony!! And don't even get me started on the RIOTS.
Anywho: At least Vancouver was 1st overall again in the next season! THEY GOT A SECOND CHANCE! Oh yeah…. Nevermind…. They were beat out. 4-0!! To the 16TH SEED IN THE 2012 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS: THE LA KINGS. Just accept it, Canucks fans.. Vancouver will NEVER WIN THE CUP !! 😀
Brad Marchand was unstoppable in this game. Amazing performance
Rewatching after game 1 of the first round in 2023…god I hope the boys can help bergy, marchy, and krech get one more.
I saw this game when I was only a few months old with my dad. I obviously didn’t remember anything, but when we won my dad said he celebrated so hard he woke me up and I cried so hard
pain.
had to watch this after last night
Here for my annual view of this video after the Bruins got eliminated again. It hits a little different this time, but hey, gotta move on.
Hey bruins fans, you’ll always have this game
Tearing up every time I see Bergy and Krej lift the cup knowing that it’s not likely either come back after that collapse of a season
