So what, every time a team wants leverage in extension negotiations they’re going to leak trade rumors to Buffalo as a threat? I mean, that’s exactly what happened with Robertson.
Winnipeg clearly places a premium on Hellebuyck and Adams has been downright precious with his prospects and picks. These two teams aren’t good trade partners based on that fact alone.
