Last year at the trade deadline raptors declined a trade involving 3 1st round picks I don’t think they accept this trade
I think most Raptors fans, myself included, are already annoyed that Nick Nurse got fired even though he’s one of the best coaches in the league, trading OG would just by fuel to the fire. He’s pretty much seen alongside Scottie and GTJ as the future that we’re developing rn. Although I would like to keep Siakam, trading him to a contender in return for moving up in the draft this year would probably be the best choice. He doesn’t really fit our timeline anymore unfortunately but he’s put in the work and deserves to be rewarded. Especially if these rumours that Portland might want to shop their pick are true. Otherwise, a sign and trade deal involving Fred could be nice but I doubt it’ll happen, he’s probably just gonna sign elsewhere. I guess what I’m trying to say is OG should be pretty far from trade talks rn cause we should be focusing on developing our young core

They don't even have to have a "Super team". The Lakers may be going into rebuilding and Reaves and Hachimura are both free agents. Both are good defenders, play hard, are solid scorers (from 3 and midrange), and hungry to establish themselves as household names. Pick up either one of them and you improve your team defensively and don't lose much offensively. Reaves in particular is interesting since he shot above 50% in each game of the Nuggets series while averaging over 20 points. He even shot 70% in one. I'm pretty sure Luka could find him open quite often in the half court offense. Hachimura did an admirable job guarding Jokic on top of some good scoring runs.
But they need a SERIOUS force in the paint. Doesn't matter if it's a shot-blocking center or a rebounding PF, they need better defense and A LOT better rebounding. Nothing works for them without upgrading that.
My opinion is that Doncic in Dallas is earning a lot of money but wasting his time and talent. As a matter of fact the best thing he can do is to go back to Madrid – Real is a far better team than Dallas and he'll win many titles.
