« As per the MoneyPuck model, the 2023 Detroit Red Wings had the 10th ranked 5v5 defense in the NHL paired with the 32nd ranked 5v5 offense. »
Holy fuck. I knew we were anemic offensively, but I didn’t think it would be that bad. Holy Moses.

Didn’t expect zadina to be third with offense

Zadina #3 in offense and #3 in defense. Just as everyone expected. Please learn how to score

So much red. Oh God. It’s everywhere.
Still, I firmly believe a lot of the struggles the Wings had this season were largely a combination of unfamiliarity, young players who haven’t hit their stride yet, and injuries. I like most of this roster and think as long as Lalonde can get them to establish consistency and better habits, this could be an extremely well balanced team in all areas.

I so hope Zadina can find his groove. Guy has great hockey sense, but the worst luck and poor shot choice timing. Even Stevie in the postseason press conference mentioned that he saw Zadina as being a offensive contributor this year, but injuries unfortunately sidelined him.

Man, Chiarot really, really sucks.

Long story short, we can’t score.

Any model that thinks Zadina was better than Berggren or Raymond is totally full of shit.

Our highest offensive percentile was 61%… dear lord that’s bad

Can you add turnover % to this? I feel like the wings are leaders in the league and would like to know who specifically is giving it away the most
